If you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted! - John 15:7 Plenty of people look for a formula to get what they want from me.  But I want to show you how to pray so that your wants actually come from me.  It is as my words abide in you - as the words of your Bible become so much a part of you that they begin to shape your prayers - that your voice will become one with mine in prayer.  This is how you can ask whatever you want and it will be done for you.  As you saturate yourself in my Word, I will purify your wants and magnify my will. As you pray the Bible back to me, you will be lifted out of your own boring pettiness into the grandeur of my thoughts and the delights of my will.  Praying for my will to be accomplished in your life is not a way of resigning yourself to something small.  This is how I save you from your own smallness.
